ZAATOT, for Man and Monkey in the High-Atlas
Interns and Volunteers
For several years, ZAATOT has welcomed students. for their internships. Research on different subjects is then studied (see “actions carried out” tab for more details) and allows the implementation of conservation and awareness actions. With the help of our volunteers on site, these actions can be carried out.
January 2024
Over the last 2 weeks, ZAATOT has welcomed 3 French and Belgian volunteers! They were able to carry out different missions:
- Raising awareness at the Nature and Mountain Center
- Analysis of tourist traffic
- Mapping of hiking trails
- Cleaning of the Nature and Mountain Center
- Collection of waste on the various hiking trails
- Monkey sightings
Travel can also raise awareness. It is thanks to everyone's involvement that we will be able to move things forward!
